Spring!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather. I just got back from visiting my family in New Jersey and they are thrilled to finally be rid of the snow! I am not a fan of hot weather but do love spring. However, I am definitely not fond of spring cleaning - YUCK! I am sure some of you feel the same so I thought it might be fun if everyone contributes a helpful tip to make domestic chores less painful. I will go first...

1. Ask for help!
Seriously, it's okay - I have to tell myself this often because I always think I should do more than I do. The reality is that there are only so many hours in the day and sometimes cleaning just isn't the top priority. Or, life just gets in the way and things pile up. This is when it's important to stop... breathe... and ask for help.

2. Aubrey Organics Earth Aware House Cleaner
LOVE IT! A little goes a long way and this is the only cleaning product that doesn't make me feel like my lungs are closing.

Oops...

Okay, so I totally dropped the ball on writing Jewelry Preview Part II. Sorry, ladies, but it's been a busy couple of weeks. Anyway, it sounded like all of you had a successful night - congratulations! I also wanted to welcome the new recruits and those planning and/or considering becoming Silpada reps - you will love it - especially our team!



I'm sure that I speak for everyone when I say how great it was to visit with Martha. She's awesome and her expertise is invaluable. Thanks, Martha!

WOW! Just... WOW!

So I don't know about you guys but last night's jewelry preview made me want to buy EVERYTHING (new and old). LOL. And what a great turn-out... I feel so motivated to focus on my business! But before I continue the discussion of events I'd like to share a story.
Once upon a time...

It's August '09 at the Marriott City Center and a bunch of stylish ladies are preparing for a great sterling night. One rep is beginning to build her team but only one of her recruits is attending the preview with her (of course, that recruit is pretty awesome - cough, cough). Anyway, she spends the next 7 months committed to building her business and is soooo successful that she starts leading her own team meetings and is inches away from becoming Star Leader. Who could this amazing Silpada Rep be? Time to flash-forward...

*** March 2010 New Jewelry Preview***
It's March 2010 and once again the Marriott City Center is bustling with even more ladies eagerly attending the New Jewelry Preview. But there is more than just the buzz of jewelry excitement (if you can believe that). Remember that rep from seven months ago? Well, she's there (with the same awesome recruit - cough, cough). Only this time she has FIVE recruits with her. FIVE! And that's not even her whole team!!!! Talk about big accomplishments...
**APPLAUSE * APPLAUSE * APPLAUSE**
To our fearless leader, Mindy, on her incredible growth and for building this terrific team! Congratulations on your success. I am sure I speak for all of us when I say you are a great team leader. You have truly made this a sisterhood and I'm proud to be a part of it!

Preview Party!

Hello Silpada Sisters~


I don't know about you, but I am super-excited to see the Sterling Additions pieces on Thursday!!! I have my list ready to go and I'm ready to try on everything. Below, I am posting a copy of Mindy's (and Tammy's) email with last minute info for the preview. This will be my third jewelry preview event and I promise you will have a great time! Don't forget to invite everyone you know... and even some you don't - hey, you never know, right? Good Luck, everyone, and I will see you Thursday.

FROM MINDY'S EMAIL

1. Arrive at 4:00 PM for set-up if you can. Our team meeting and team picture will take place at 5:00 PM, and we open to our customers at 6:00 PM. Plan to help pack Martha's jewelry when we're done at 8:30 PM and join us for a drink afterwards if you can.

2. INVITE, INVITE, INVITE! I can't stress the importance of promoting this event everywhere you go to everyone you know and meet. The more you invite and promote, the more success you will have.

3. Come prepared to book, sale and recruit! Bring your own catalogs, order forms and supplies. We could use a few ring sizers and mirrors on the jewelry table, so please bring what you have.

** In addition, you may want to be bring some of your jewelry to sell "cash-and-carry." All reps with a table at the preview will offer the same 50% off discount. It's also a good idea to bring the packaging for each piece... I forgot to do that last time (haha).
